Position Overview:
Warehouse worker is a crucial member of our warehouse team responsible for efficiently and accurately fulfilling customer orders. This position involves operating a forklift to move and stack goods, selecting and picking products from inventory, and ensuring all items are prepared for shipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forklift Operation:
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the cold room.
- Conduct routine equipment checks, maintenance, and report any issues promptly.
- Ensure the forklift is operated in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Order Picking:
- Accurately pick and assemble customer orders using a pick list.
- Verify the accuracy of items picked, ensuring the correct quantity and quality.
- Organize and label picked items for shipping.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular cycle counts.
- Report discrepancies in stock levels to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards before shipment.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Comply with all company policies and procedures related to safety, sanitation, and food handling.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator's license or certification/ willing to get one.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic Computer Literacy.
- Ability to work independently.
Pay: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour

- Warehouse: 1 year (Required)
