We're seeking a Full-time Baker, with opportunities for growth!
Someone who loves bread, sando's and all things pastry inspired. Work with our amazing chef team, including executive Chefs (Shane Wilson & Michael Henderson) and Head of Pastry, John Laguna, in delivering our products in the best light possible! Work to develop our menu, control costs, and progress the team, to create and deliver breads that exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
Preparing ingredients as per company specifications.
Mixing, shaping and baking sourdough breads and laminated doughs
Responsible for a section within the pastry kitchen.
Manage costs by minimising wastage and maximising output.
Ensure guest experience metrics are achieved
Good communication and effective time management skills.
Keeping customers happy and coming back!
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
A bloody great positive attitude.
The ability to think on your feet.
Relevant experience in sourdough mixing, shaping and baking
A passion for learning and teaching.
Be available for early mornings and weekends
