Based in Coral Bay, Sail Ningaloo operates an award winning live-aboard sailing tour experience exploring the remote stretches of the Ningaloo Reef.
Applications are currently being accepted for a multi-lingual Tour Guide / Dive Guide position, with main roles including, but not limited to;
· Planning, organising and conducting guided tours including snorkelling, kayaking, scuba diving and beach walks including planning and coordinating safe access to, and entry at tour sites.
· Providing expert verbal interpretation on Ningaloo Reef wildlife, flora, ecology, history and conservation significance
· Conducting pre-departure safety briefings and explaining features, procedures and environmental guidelines at all tour sites
· Maintaining accurate records of guest attendance, waivers, safety briefings, passenger manifest and headcounts
· Coordinating guest logistics prior to departure, facilitating mini-bus transfers & meeting, greeting and assisting guests throughout their tour experience
· Arranging and confirming daily tour itineraries in liaison with the Skipper
· Using photography and videography to document tours and create social media content showcasing tour experiences
· Occasionally assisting guests with dive refresher orientation as part of tour delivery
· General tour operational support duties including equipment maintenance, deckhand duties, cleaning of vessel & assisting with food service

To be considered for the role, you should possess the following skills/experience;
· Exceptional Customer Service skills with a can-do attitude, self-motivated and organised.
· A clear communicator with the ability to provide engaging interpretative information to guests. Knowledge of the Ningaloo Reef and surrounding environment, or the ability to assimilate this information quickly.
· Proficiency in one or more additional languages is highly desirable, reflecting the international nature of Sail Ningaloo's guest base.
· PADI Dive Instructor qualified – required, with personal Dive Liability Insurance.
· Up to date with all relevant Advanced First Aid training & current dive medical.
· Coxswains (or GPH) certification & experience driving tenders desirable.
· Previous liveaboard, tour / dive guiding and sailing experience.
· Previous photography/videography experience, including creating engaging social media posts & short videos.
· Marine Radio Operators Licence.
· Australian Drivers Licence with Passenger Transport Driver accreditation, or ability to acquire
· RSA required, or Course in Liquor Licencing preferred.
