Your new role:
Join Metro South Health as a leader in policy document management and clinical governance, providing advanced advice, consultancy and strategic direction to support excellence in patient care, education and research. You will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the MSH Policy Framework and controlled document management system, while guiding a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality governance outcomes. Working with executives, clinicians and key stakeholders, you will champion innovation, evidence-based practice, workforce development and service improvements that enhance safety, quality and consumer-focused care across the organisation.
About you:
You are an experienced clinical governance leader with strong policy expertise, a passion for quality improvement, and the ability to influence safe, evidence-based healthcare outcomes across a complex health service environment.
Demonstrated advanced knowledge of clinical governance, policy frameworks, controlled document management and quality systems.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, provide expert advice and build effective stakeholder relationships.
Strong experience in policy development, implementation, evaluation and translating evidence into improved practice.
Highly developed leadership, communication and change management skills to drive innovation and service improvement.
Demonstrated capability in data analysis, workforce planning and using insights to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

The Clinical Governance team is part of Metro South Health's Governance portfolio, alongside Risk and Compliance and Legal Services. Working collaboratively across the organisation, the team leads strategic clinical governance initiatives that strengthen quality improvement, patient safety, clinical effectiveness, healthcare standards and consumer-centred care. Clinical Standards and Policy provides organisation-wide leadership in policy, standards, compliance and governance, ensuring best practice and evidence-based care across Metro South Health.
