As the Technical Officer – Engineering you will:
- Provide technical and administrative support across Infrastructure area
- Assist with fieldwork, including surveying and engineering project support
- Coordinate regulatory approvals impacting Council’s infrastructure
- Respond to customer enquiries and investigate complaints relating to Council infrastructure
To thrive in this role, you will have the following:
- Completion of a relevant qualification and/or relevant practical experience
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply engineering regulations, standards, and codes
- Strong customer service and communication skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Be part of a growing community, set amongst the Huon Valley’s rivers, forests, and coastline, 30 minutes from Hobart
