About this opportunity
We're looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our Technology & Transformation team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering technology projects that make a real difference to how people work. Working across infrastructure, cloud, business systems, cyber security and digital workplace initiatives, you'll play a key role in coordinating projects from planning through to implementation, ensuring successful outcomes for our people and the wider business.
Working closely with the Head of Technology, internal technical specialists, vendors and business stakeholders, you'll help drive structured, practical and well-coordinated project delivery. You'll bring strong organisation, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, while confidently working alongside technical teams to remove barriers and keep projects moving.

Here's what you'll get to do
- Coordinate and deliver technology projects from planning through to successful implementation.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies and status reporting.
- Partner with technical teams to coordinate delivery activities and remove project roadblocks.
- Work collaboratively with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Support technology implementations across infrastructure, cloud, business applications, cyber security and digital workplace initiatives.
- Assist with project governance, documentation, testing, communications, training and operational handover.
- Build strong relationships across the business, translating business needs into practical technology outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices, governance and operational processes.
What we're seeking
We're looking for a collaborative and delivery-focused Project Manager who enjoys bringing structure, coordination and momentum to technology initiatives. You'll be comfortable working alongside technical specialists, business stakeholders and vendors while ensuring projects remain on track and aligned to business objectives.
Capabilities & Competencies
- Strong project management skills across planning, scheduling, risk management and delivery coordination.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across the business.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, vendors and project stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience managing competing priorities across multiple concurrent technology projects.
- Collaborative leadership style with a focus on accountability, continuous improvement and successful project delivery.
Experience
- Project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent delivery experience will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience delivering or coordinating technology projects within an operational IT environment.
- Practical understanding of technology environments including infrastructure, cloud platforms, Microsoft 365, cyber security, networking, identity, business applications or related technologies.
- Experience managing project plans, budgets, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies and project reporting.
- Experience coordinating vendors, internal technical teams and business stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
