Purpose of the Role
This is an opportunity to lead meaningful, complex digital projects that directly shape how customers quote, purchase, and manage their insurance policies. You'll work at the heart of our digital strategy, partnering with senior stakeholders and talented delivery teams to craft exceptional customer experiences across our platforms.
As a key member of a delivery team, you’ll ensure each of the projects you’re responsible is set up for success by being the key interface, managing risks, reporting, workshops, alignment across delivery streams as needed, communications and enablement of the projects to complete successful delivery.
Position Accountabilities

Lead end-to-end project delivery for customer-focused digital web solutions spanning quoting, selling, and policy management.

Own comprehensive project plans, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and ensure every deliverable lands on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Drive Agile ceremonies and delivery rhythms — Steering Groups, Stakeholder Sessions, Post-Implementation Reviews, and discovery workshops.

Partner closely with subject matter experts and business representatives to deeply understand needs, expectations, and constraints.

Serve as the key interface across delivery streams in managing communications, alignment, risks, and reporting.

Provide timely, clear status reports and project documentation for all key stakeholders.

Engage confidently across all levels of the organisation, from frontline teams to executive leadership

Contribute to our Project Management Community of Practice, sharing learnings and lifting standards across the team.

Work with Change Management to develop and execute effective change and communication plans.

Identify continuous improvement opportunities within our delivery and Project Management Framework.

Champion a culture of risk awareness and compliance across the division.
Qualification & Experience
-
5+ years of demonstrated Project Management experience, applying methodologies such as PMP, Prince2, or equivalent.

Proven track record of delivering complex digital or software development projects end-to-end.

Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.

Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills across all organisational levels.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities without dropping the ball.

Self-motivated, autonomous, and consistently bring a collaborative, can-do attitude to the team.
Highly Regarded (but not essential)

Experience in Financial Services or General Insurance.

Formal Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, or similar).

Tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline.

Understanding of legislative, regulatory, and compliance obligations in the Financial Services environment.
