About the role
The Associate Director provides strategic direction and support for the nursing and midwifery leadership, research and workforce development initiatives across the district.
Working with the District Director of Nursing and Midwifery to ensure the efficient and effective strategic leadership and management of nursing and midwifery services to enable delivery of high standards of care for patients and their families.
Undertaking a lead role in developing and implementing transformational leadership programs, overseeing the governance of advanced practice nurses and midwives, and building nursing and midwifery research capability through the development of strategic research partnerships that support innovation, translation of evidence into practice, and improved health outcomes.
