About the Role
Ready to make a meaningful impact on patient care? As Senior Dietitian, Food Services, you'll be a trusted leader in hospital nutrition, ensuring patients receive safe, clinically appropriate and high-quality meals that support recovery and wellbeing. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you'll bridge clinical nutrition and large-scale food service operations, driving quality, compliance and continuous improvement while helping shape a culture of patient safety and excellence.
In this diverse and rewarding role, you will:
- Lead menu review, nutrient analysis and compliance
- Ensure therapeutic diets, food allergy and texture modified meals meet standards
- Partner with catering, nursing, allied health and medical teams to optimise patient care
- Develop policies, procedures, education and training resources to build staff capability
- Monitor food service quality, identify risks and implement improvement strategies
- Guide dietetic assistants, students and food service projects
- Provide expert advice on nutrition, food services and menu standards
- Support safe, efficient food production that meets clinical and operational needs
- Review outcomes, conduct audits and drive evidence-based practice
- Build strong stakeholder relationships as a trusted nutrition resource
About You
You're a skilled and passionate food service dietitian who thrives on making a real difference to patient care. You understand how great nutrition supports recovery and can confidently bridge the gap between clinical requirements and food service delivery. Known for your expertise, initiative and collaborative approach, you're equally comfortable partnering with clinical teams, guiding stakeholders and driving improvements that enhance safety, quality and patient outcomes.
