About the Role
ANNEES® is seeking a Shop Manager to join our team at our Earlville, Cairns venue. Shop Managers own the day-to-day operation of their venue, delivering ANNEES® standards across guest experience, team performance, product quality, and venue compliance.
This is a full-time, salaried position reporting to the Regional Manager, with direct oversight of Shift Leaders and A-Team Members at the venue.
What You'll Do
Venue Performance
- Manage venue operations to achieve budgets and KPIs, and deliver a guest-first experience
- Communicate venue performance to the team, celebrating wins and addressing shortfalls
Team Leadership and Development
- Deliver ANNEES® training and coach Shift Leaders and Team Members to support their growth
- Coordinate hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and off-boarding with the Regional Manager
Venue Operations
- Oversee product standards, rostering, timesheets, stock control, and daily reconciliation
- Implement marketing campaigns and promotions, and manage guest experience complaints
Compliance and WHS
- Ensure venue operations comply with ANNEES® policies and statutory WHS requirements
- Champion the ANNEES® brand and culture through personal conduct and team leadership
What You'll Bring to the Role
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role within café, hospitality, or retail
- Demonstrated experience leading a team to deliver consistent guest experience and operational results
- Comfortable managing venue budgets, rosters, and stock control, with a sound understanding of wages percentage, cost of goods sold, and how day-to-day decisions affect both
- Willingness to undertake training as required for the role
Employment Conditions
- Ordinary hours: must be flexible and willing to work across 7 days per week, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by venue trading hours
- Probationary period: 6 months from commencement date, or as specified in the employment contract
