About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker & Installer to join us on a casual subcontract basis.
We need someone who is confident working independently, can attend different job sites, and is capable of completing cabinet installation, repairs, adjustments, and maintenance work with minimal supervision.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled cabinet maker who enjoys varied work and wants the flexibility of subcontracting.
Key Responsibilities
- Cabinet making, assembly, and installation.
- Install cabinetry and joinery across different job sites.
- Complete cabinet repairs, adjustments, modifications, and maintenance.
- Attend different sites as required and complete jobs independently.
- Identify and resolve issues on site.
- Work from plans, drawings, measurements, and job specifications.
- Liaise professionally with builders, clients, and other trades.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe.
About You
The successful applicant will:
- Have proven experience as a cabinet maker and installer.
- Be confident working independently without constant supervision.
- Have strong practical and problem-solving skills.
- Be experienced in maintenance and repair work.
- Be reliable, professional, and punctual.
- Take pride in delivering quality workmanship.
- Have your own tools and equipment suitable for the work.
- Have reliable transport and a current driver's licence.
- Be comfortable travelling to different job sites.
- Hold an ABN and be able to work as a subcontractor.
- Relevant trade qualifications and industry experience are highly regarded.
