We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Casual Disability Support Workers to provide daily living assistance to one of our clients located near Mount Waverley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to NDIS participants in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Support clients in accessing social and community activities to promote inclusion
- Provide transport assistance for appointments, shopping, and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and incident reports
- Follow NDIS guidelines, company policies, and procedures to ensure compliance
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and other stakeholders
- Uphold workplace health and safety practices to ensure a safe environment for all
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care or equivalent
- Valid Australian Passport or proof of right to work in Australia
- Current First Aid Certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Working with Children Check
Preferred:
- National Police Certificate
