We're seeking a passionate, disciplined chef/line cook with strong culinary skills and attention to detail to join our growing kitchen team.
What we're after:
- Experience in Japanese/Korean cuisine or similar Asian cooking (preferred)
- Strong knife skills and ability to follow recipes precisely
- Understanding of FIFO stock rotation and food safety protocols
- Excellent hygiene standards and food handling knowledge
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under pressure
- Good English communication skills for clear teamwork
- Professional attitude with respect for premium ingredients
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking menu items to exact recipe specifications
- Maintaining consistent food presentation and quality standards
- Proper ingredient prep, labelling, dating, and storage protocols
- Daily stock control and waste reporting
- Comprehensive kitchen cleaning and sanitation duties
- Following all food safety and hygiene requirements
- Supporting the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
