About the Opportunity
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of Aboriginal children and families across the Central Coast. As a Clinical Psychologist within the Ngaliya Ngara Aboriginal Family Service, you will provide culturally safe, evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention that supports the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal children and their families.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Deliver psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions for preschool and primary school-aged children experiencing emotional, social and behavioural difficulties.

Conduct psychometric assessments to support diagnostic clarification, treatment planning and care coordination.

Provide family-centred and culturally responsive care that strengthens wellbeing, resilience and positive family outcomes.

Facilitate individual, family and group-based interventions that support children and their carers.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, schools and community partners to provide holistic and coordinated care for Aboriginal children and families.

About You
We're looking for someone who:

Is passionate about improving the social, emotional and mental health outcomes of Aboriginal children, families and communities through culturally safe and family-centred practice.

Holds recognised qualifications in Clinical Psychology and current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).

Has experience providing psychological assessment, psychometric testing and evidence-based interventions for children and families.

Enjoys working collaboratively with families, multidisciplinary teams and community partners to deliver holistic care and positive outcomes.

Brings strong communication, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
