- Why On-site? This role partners closely with delivery, engineering, vendors, and business stakeholders across multiple programs, making face-to-face collaboration essential to driving quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
What's the role?
You'll be joining our Technology team as a Lead Quality Engineer , responsible for leading quality engineering and testing delivery across complex, enterprise-scale programs of work. In this role, you'll define testing strategy, govern quality outcomes, and drive the adoption of modern testing practices, including automation and AI-enabled quality engineering.
You will lead testing delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle while managing vendors, risks, dependencies, environments, and quality metrics. You'll champion an automation-first approach and help uplift testing capability through continuous improvement initiatives and coaching.
Working closely with engineering, delivery, business, and technology stakeholders, you will provide quality and risk-based recommendations to senior leaders, helping to shape successful outcomes across strategic technology initiatives.
What do I need?
- 10+ years' experience in Test Management, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering.
- Proven experience leading large-scale testing delivery across complex enterprise environments.
- Experience leading and managing external vendors and testing partners.
- Strong experience defining test strategies, quality metrics, governance frameworks, and delivery plans.
- Deep expertise in test automation and modern quality engineering practices.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across business and technology teams.
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and uplifting testing capability.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of AI-enabled testing capabilities and modern engineering tools.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, AMP, or similar.
- Financial services experience.
- Experience testing low-code workflow platforms and systems.
- Experience mentoring and developing Quality Engineering teams.
