Roles and responsibilities:
- Responsibility for Recruitment, attraction, and talent acquisition
- Implement strategies to showcase the SydWest brand and promote as an employer of choice
- Review the current Recruitment process and utilise the HRIS to develop a talent pool for ongoing critical roles
- Utilise the HRIS to facilitate seamless recruitment and onboarding experience for new employees
- Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of allocated People & Culture tasks aimed at enhancing organisational productivity and workplace culture with a key focus on talent acquisition and Learning and development)
- Design, deliver, and evaluate training and development initiatives to support employee growth and capability building
- Utilise the HRIS Learning modules to develop training plans specific to front line roles, and for individual development and compliance
- Provide reporting on recruitment metrics and training completion and compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SydWest policies throughout all practices.
Essential requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a relevant discipline
- 4+ years of experience in recruitment
- Deep knowledge and experience with SCHADS award interpretation
- understanding of human resources principles, practices and legislation
- Excellent project management experience, including planning, execution, monitoring and reporting
- Solid knowledge and experience with employment legislation and compliance requirements
- Ability to work with people from different backgrounds and meet the changing requirements of the function
- Experience in designing and delivering training and development programs is highly regarded
- Experience working within a multicultural organisation and/or community services environment, with exposure to training and development, is highly desirable.
