Salary package: $100,847 to $116,083 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full-time, Continuing (Canberra location)
The Position
The Australian National University is seeking an experienced and qualified Business Analyst in the HR Systems team within the People and Culture Division. Reporting to the Team Leader, HR Systems Operations, the Business Analyst supports the analysis and translation of HR and Payroll business requirements to produce optimal business and systems solutions for HR information systems within the People Services team.
The HR Systems Business Analyst evaluates processes and methods used in existing HR Systems (primarily PeopleSoft HCM), provides reports, and supports the design and implementation of modifications, additional system components or new systems to meet user needs as expressed in specifications and other documentation, and identifies and communicates with users to formulate and produce requirement specifications to create system and software solutions. Training in accounting and/or a strong understanding of Australian workplace legislations in the University context will be highly regarded.

The Person
We are seeking a qualified professional with strong teamwork stills and experience as a HR Business and Systems Analyst to join our team. We understand the importance of the brief and place a strong emphasis on communication, consultation and collaboration. You will be a strategic Business and Systems analyst with strong systems-thinking skills and a solid grounding in payroll and/or HR information systems. You will ideally have track record in identifying innovative solutions that are underpinned by continuous improvement cycles of user feedback and review.
