About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our Corporate sector team in Sydney. The role will support our Corporate sector nationally, including sectors and practice teams. The successful candidate will work closely with and support our Head of Corporate and BDMs and the relevant practice team stakeholders.
Responsibilities include supporting the BD initiatives across the portfolio, with particular focus on delivering against the strategic plan, developing marketing campaigns and thought leadership, supporting pursuits and tenders, engaging with clients for feedback, and supporting client specific initiatives.
This full-time position is based in Sydney, although flexible working arrangements are available.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Creative support and implementation of marketing campaigns and thought leadership
- Creative development and implementation of events/webinars
- Providing strategic and proactive advice on business development and marketing initiatives
- Leading and supporting pursuits, including preparation of tenders and capability statements (with assistance of the bid and pursuit team)
- Client research/market analysis to support business development efforts
- Involvement in client service reviews
- Involvement in other broader business development and marketing projects
- Key client plan support and execution
- Draft, capture and refine content in the firm’s bid system and playbooks
- Directory and award submissions
- Maintain submission register data for the firm’s tender analysis process
- Identifying client/new work opportunities, emerging product and service areas and working with other stakeholders to pursue these
About You
In order to be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- 2+ years’ experience working in a similar role within a corporate or professional services environment
- Experience in co-ordinating marketing and communications activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Be an effective team-player, a can-do attitude and great interpersonal skills
