JMD Hair Art is seeking a qualified and experienced Hairdresser to join our professional team on a full-time basis. We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused individual committed to delivering high-quality hairdressing services and exceptional client experiences.

Hairdresser (Full-Time)
Salary
$75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to assess hair condition and recommend suitable hairstyles, cuts, colours, and treatments.
- Cut, trim, shape, and style hair using professional hairdressing techniques and tools.
- Perform hair colouring, bleaching, highlighting, tinting, balayage, and colour correction services.
- Provide hair treatments including conditioning, scalp treatments, keratin treatments, and other specialised hair care services.
- Shampoo, rinse, and prepare clients’ hair for cutting, colouring, and styling services.
- Recommend and promote appropriate hair care products to clients.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain salon cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Manage appointments and maintain accurate client service records.
- Keep up to date with current hairdressing trends, techniques, and industry developments.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Hairdressing or a closely related field (mandatory).
- Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time work experience as a Hairdresser.
- Strong knowledge of hair cutting, colouring, styling, and treatment techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and client care.
