Where you’ll be working: Hornsby Ku‑ring‑gai Hospital provides high-quality healthcare services to the local community and plays a key role within the Northern Sydney Local Health District. You will work within the Service Improvement Team, leading and supporting initiatives that drive improvements in service access, patient flow, and care delivery across the hospital. This role operates across departments and disciplines, engaging with clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver sustainable and effective change.
What you’ll be doing: As the Service Improvement Project Officer (Whole of Health Lead), you will lead and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of improvement initiatives aligned to organisational priorities.
Lead and support teams to develop and implement projects under the Service Improvement program that align with strategic and operational objectives.
Deliver whole-of-hospital initiatives to improve service access, patient flow, and models of care.
Provide expert advice in project management, service redesign, implementation, and change management.
Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timeframes, quality standards, and budgets.
Support the Redesign and Innovation Steering Committee, including preparation of project reports, performance updates, and governance documentation.
Coordinate all aspects of project management, including:
Development of project briefs and business cases.
Stakeholder engagement and consultation.
Resource planning and coordination.
Identification of milestones, risks, and deliverables.
