About the role
Flexible part-time arrangement, depending on the successful candidate’s availability, with hours ideally worked across a minimum of four business days per week and significant flexibility in daily start and finish times.
- Lead and inspire a team of Support Workers across multiple service locations in Port Lincoln, driving outstanding client outcomes and supporting efficient, high-quality service delivery.
- Build a high-performing, empowered team by fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and positive client outcomes.
- Oversee service delivery across SIL, HCS, Day Options and other Cara services within your cluster.
- Champion quality and compliance, ensuring services meet the National Quality and Safeguarding Framework, as well as Cara’s policies and procedures.
- Develop and support your team through coaching, feedback, recognition and talent development, while driving performance and employee engagement.
- Lead in line with Cara’s Vision, Values and Code of Conduct, ensuring a strong focus on respectful, person-centred support.
- Provide out-of-hours emergency escalation support as required.
About you

Experienced in supporting clients with complex needs across disability, health, aged care or related human services settings, including working collaboratively with allied health and medical professionals.
- A confident and inspiring leader who can build trust, coach and develop others, and create a positive team culture.
- A strong problem-solver with excellent analytical, negotiation and decision-making skills and the ability to resolve challenges constructively.
- An excellent communicator, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences both verbally and in writing.
- Committed to person-centred practice and achieving meaningful outcomes for people living with disability.

Current First Aid Certificate
- Full Driver’s Licence
- Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance
- Current Working with Children’s Clearance
- Valid Australian work rights
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Disability, Community Management, Social or Human Services, or a related field and qualifications in business, management or leadership will be highly regarded.
