Mechanical Engineering Technician (FRP Structure Manufacturing)
StairCare FRP is an Australian manufacturer of prefabricated FRP (Fibreglass Reinforced Polymer) stairs, platforms, walkways and access systems. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our manufacturing team at Lisarow, NSW.
Key Responsibilities
· Manufacture and assemble prefabricated FRP products.
· Set up and operate workshop machinery and equipment.
· Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.
· Assist with production planning and manufacturing processes.
· Undertake quality control inspections.
· Provide technical input into manufacturing methods and continuous improvement.
· Maintain a safe and organised work environment.
Essential Requirements
· Qualification suitable for the occupation of Mechanical Engineering Technician (ANZSCO 312512) or equivalent experience.
· Demonstrated experience working with FRP (Fibreglass Reinforced Polymer) manufacturing is essential.
· Must have experience manufacturing FRP stairs, platforms, walkways or similar structures from FRP.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
· Current Australian Driver Licence.
Employment
- Full-time position.
- Salary: $75,000-$85,000 per annum plus superannuation.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
