In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering traffic and safety investigations, technical assessments, and support for the planning, development, and delivery of integrated network and safety programs across the region.
This role will see you conduct investigations and assessments, provide technical advice, support project teams, contribute to regional safety and network initiatives, and apply project management techniques to deliver accurate, evidence based inputs.
You will lead practical safety and network solutions in a geographically diverse environment that requires strong technical judgement, coordination across multiple stakeholders, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

About you
Your experience in road safety engineering, traffic management or network operations; strong technical understanding of road safety principles; analytical and problem solving capability; and effective communication and stakeholder management skills formed across internal teams, councils, community stakeholders and related transport environments will see you excel in managing multiple investigations, applying technical expertise to complex issues, and delivering consistent, evidence based safety and network outcomes.
You’re recognised as a technically capable safety and traffic specialist, skilled at conducting investigations, audits and assessments, experienced in project management, stakeholder engagement, developing practical network solutions, and contributing to program delivery within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
