The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the National Operations Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations including inventory management, receiving and dispatch, staff supervision, facility maintenance, safety compliance, and adherence to industry accreditations.
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities and time management skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse best practices to ensure efficient and effective operations while maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and promote a strong safety-first culture across the site
- Manage daily warehouse and distribution operations to achieve operational KPI targets
- Lead and develop warehouse team members through coaching, mentoring, and training
- Ensure compliance with WHS policies, operational procedures, and company controls
- Manage stock control processes including cycle counts and variance analysis
- Build strong relationships with freight providers and internal stakeholders
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across operations
- Monitor warehouse performance and provide regular KPI reporting
The Ideal Candidate

Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a large warehouse and distribution operation
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and heavy lifting when required.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations and logistics processes.
- Safety first mindset
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Experience using WMS
- Forklift licence
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
