Job Summary
Begina Education Centre runs after-school, and weekend classes that is structured around teaching kids Music/Art/Robotics/Tutoring. We are looking for visual art teacher that loves working with and teaching kids to join our dynamic and growing team.
Responsibilities and Duties
WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO:
- Are positive, happy, energetic people that love working with children
- Are mature, responsible and reliable, have commitment to the work
- Have a lot of patience with young kids
- Are available to work afternoon shifts (3pm-6pm), or on Saturdays
- Have, or are willing to get, a Working With Children Check
- Have previous teaching experience to young kids
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Set up the class for the lessons
- plan lessons for each day
- teach children in a group of 7-8 age between 5-10.
HOURS OF WORK
Weekday 3pm - 6pm (Possible Mon & Tue within school term)
Saturday 9.30-2.30, or might extended to 4pm with more enrollment
With additional hours during school holidays.
We are willing to consider individual circumstances.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
REQUIREMENTS
Visual Art background, class would also include some crafting sometimes, have ideas in planning class fun and interesting and interactive, able to teach students basic drawing techniques, art knowledge, guide to some Art Appreciations.
Staff are required to have a WWCC. Experience in/ Studying towards teaching is beneficial.

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
