About the Role
I am seeking a friendly, organised, and adaptable Administration Support Officer to join me delivering health care services to remote Aboriginal communities across the Northern Territory.
This is a unique opportunity to combine administration, customer service, and community engagement while travelling to some of Australia's most remote and culturally significant regions.
The work is only 2 weeks every quarter, perfect for those who are already casual or contract workers looking for a bit of extra money and change of scenary. All flights and accommodation is paid for, including the interstate flights from Perth to Darwin.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and assisting with clinic check-in procedures.
- Preparing, organising, and processing patient paperwork and records.
- Managing appointment lists and supporting clinic administration tasks.
- Assisting patients with forms and answering general questions.
- Providing a friendly and supportive presence for patients while they wait.
- Engaging with community members to help them feel comfortable, relaxed, and valued during their visit.
- Supporting the clinical team with general administrative duties throughout the day.
- Assisting with clinic setup and pack-down when required.
About You

- Is comfortable travelling and staying in remote locations.
- Demonstrates cultural awareness and respect when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Has experience in administration, reception, customer service, healthcare, or community services (preferred but not essential).
