Mature‑Aged Support Worker – Semaphore, SA (ASAP Start)
We are seeking a mature‑aged, reliable, and compassionate Support Worker to assist a private client located in Semaphore, Adelaide. This role is ideal for someone with strong life experience, excellent communication skills, and a calm, supportive approach to care.
About the Role
The successful applicant will provide in‑home and community‑based support tailored to the client’s individual needs. Duties may include:
- Personal care and daily living assistance
- Light domestic support
- Meal preparation
- Community access and companionship
- Monitoring wellbeing and promoting independence
- Any additional tasks as directed by the client or care plan
This position requires someone who is patient, respectful, mature, and able to build rapport easily.
Requirements
- Mature‑aged applicant strongly preferred
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Experience in disability, aged care, or community support
- Reliable transport and mobile phone
- Ability to commence immediately
