Universal Cabinets & Designs is currently looking for a keen & reliable Cabinet Makers to join our vibrant team in the Malaga area.
We manufacture all types of cabinet works in a large factory and specialise with custom cabinetry. The work is predominately commercial based and the work produced is exceptionally rewarding.
The role is not just limited to manufacturing commercial fit outs, furniture and kitchens. You will operate machinery and go on-site for installations. Training & some tools provided.
Applicant Requirements:
· Qualified (Holds Certificate III in Cabinet Making & Timber Technology) plus at least 1 year of employment experience more than 3 years experience in lieu of any formal qualifications
· in the industry
· On-site installation experience;
· Must be able to step up to the challenge of working in a fast paced busy environment and be flexible with working hours at short notice;
· Must take pride in their workmanship & quality;
· Driver's license preferred (Preferable Manual);
· Ability to follow instructions, be keen, self motivated and driven;
· Forklift ticket is advantageous but not necessary;
· White card (or ability to apply)
Main Duties
· Read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints.
· Select, cut, and shape wood, laminate, and hardware materials.
· Assemble cabinets, doors, and drawers using hand and power tools.
· Perform high-quality sanding, finishing, and edge-banding.
· Install custom joinery safely on residential or commercial sites.
