Locavore is a paddock-to-plate butchery and food producer based in Byron Bay, working with a network of regenerative farmers. We're a growing team covering production, retail and direct-to-consumer.
About the role
We're looking for a casual production team member to join us out the back at our Hive site. Day to day the role covers slicing, mincing, bagging and packing product, making schnitzel, and balling sliders. There's room to grow into more shifts over time, and for the right person, a pathway into butchery (sausage making, primal breakdown).
What we're after
- Reliable and keen to learn
- Comfortable on your feet in a fast-paced production environment
- Able to follow food safety and hygiene procedures
- No experience necessary - full training provided
- Previous kitchen, meat processing or warehouse experience a plus but not required
