About Kollab Healthcare
Kollab Healthcare is a mobile physiotherapy service delivering personalised, home-based care across Sydney. We're a registered NDIS provider supporting older adults and people living with disability in the Inner West, St George, Sutherland Shire, Georges River and surrounding areas.
Our approach is collaborative and patient-centred — evidence-based treatment focused on mobility, independence and quality of life, delivered in the comfort of a client's own home. We work closely with families, carers and support coordinators.
We're deliberately small, which means you'll deal directly with the person who knows your clients.
The opportunity
We're looking for experienced subcontracting community physiotherapists to cover an established caseload for a five-week block from mid-October to mid-November 2026, while our principal physiotherapist is on leave.
This is not a cold start. You'd be stepping into a warm caseload of around 10 regular clients — a mix of aged care and NDIS — with a proper clinical handover before you begin.
Most are weekly clients and some are fortnightly, with reasonable flexibility on the days and times they're seen. The work can be built around your existing commitments rather than the other way around.
Clients are clustered across the Sutherland Shire, St George and the Inner West so you're not crossing Sydney between visits.
You don't need to take the whole caseload — just the clients that suit your location and availability. We're happy to split the work across more than one therapist. Preference and priority will go to physiotherapists who can cover the full five weeks, as continuity matters a great deal to these clients.
Beyond the locum
Our referral flow is growing steadily, and we're looking for physiotherapists who'd like to continue with us on an ongoing basis once the block finishes. We won't overpromise hours we don't yet have on the books — but we'd genuinely rather build a long-term relationship with the right person than start this search again in six months.
Early-career physiotherapists — this particular block needs someone who can work independently from day one, but we'd still like to hear from you about ongoing work.
What we're looking for
Someone thorough, practical, and easy for clients and their families to talk to. Home visits ask more independence of you than clinic work does, so you'll need to be confident making your own clinical decisions in someone's home.
Specifically:
- AHPRA registered Physiotherapist
- Experience in community, home-based, aged care or disability settings
- Confident with exercise prescription and progression, and with manual therapy where clinically indicated
- Strong clinical reasoning, with sound judgement about when to escalate or refer on
- Warm, clear communicator with clients, families, carers and support coordinators
- Reliable, organised, and timely with documentation
- ABN, professional indemnity insurance and personal accident insurance, NDIS Worker Screening Check, current First Aid and CPR certification, current NSW driver's licence and reliable vehicle
What we offer
- $80 – $100 per 45-minute visit, depending on experience and the client's funding stream
- An established, warm caseload with a proper clinical handover — not a cold start
- Clients clustered by area, so you're not crossing Sydney between visits
- Choose your own hours, how much you take on, and which referrals you accept — we give you the client, the suburb and the rate upfront, and it's your call
- You'll deal directly with the clinical lead, not an admin inbox
- Genuine potential for ongoing work as our referrals grow
Good to know: travel is handled per client and set out before you accept a referral, so you always know what a visit is worth. Clinical notes are written outside the visit time. We'll go through the full rate card at interview.
