We are seeking a motivated and friendly dental assistant and receptionist to join in our Tweed Heads practice.Delivering professional dental care and exceptional customer service to our patients.This position will suit someone who is flexible, enthusiastic, reliable and enjoys caring patients as a part of our friendly team.
This is a casual position with flexible hours, ideal for someone who enjoys a varied role that combines clinical and front-desk responsibilities. It offers an excellent opportunity to grow into a part-time position for the right candidate. You’ll be an essential part of our team, helping to ensure our patients feel welcome and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting patients and managing appointments with care and professionalism
- Assisting our dentists during treatments with chairside support
- Preparing and sterilising treatment rooms and instruments
- Managing patient records and updating our dental software (D4W)
- Processing payments and handling private health insurance claims
- Monitoring and restocking dental supplies
- Contributing to a positive, team-focused and patient-first environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a dental assistant preferable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong multitasking and organisational abilities
- Confidence using computers; experience with D4W is a plus
- A team player with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care
- Willingness to learn and grow – we’ll support you every step of the way!
