About Us
Kids World Adventure Playland & Café is located in Stockland Green Hills. We are a large indoor play centre for children aged 0–11, featuring fully air-conditioned play areas, three-storey climbing structures, and a dedicated under-5s area for little ones.
In addition to general play entry, Kids World also hosts children’s birthday parties and private hire functions. We operate a full café serving gourmet food, coffee, and a range of drinks.
We are looking for a confident and experienced manager/supervisor who can lead from the front, maintain high standards, and guide a young team in a busy customer-focused environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role in a busy hospitality, café, entertainment, or similar fast-paced environment
- Proven experience leading, directing, training, and guiding a young team
- Strong ability to enforce workplace policies and procedures and ensure staff follow them consistently
- A keen eye for cleanliness, presentation, and safety across all areas of the venue
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a busy venue
- This role involves working every weekend, throughout school holidays, and some public holidays. Weekend availability is essential.
- The ability to take direction from senior management while confidently managing a team on shift
Key Responsibilities
- Follow daily opening and closing procedures and assist with the day-to-day operation of the venue
- Work across all areas of the business, including front counter, customer entry, café service, food preparation, coffee making, party bookings, and private function enquiries
- Lead and supervise staff on shift to ensure smooth daily operations
- Train, direct, and motivate team members to maintain productivity and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure the venue is kept safe, clean, and well-presented at all times
- Monitor staff performance and ensure all team members follow Kids World policies and procedures
- Assist with bookings, finalising payments, and responding to customer enquiries
- Assist with daily cash-ups and reconciling bankings
- Help manage budgets and wage percentages
- Ensure all daily running sheets and cleaning checklists are completed and checked
Availability
- This role involves regular weekend work.
- Shifts are mainly between 9:00am and 5:30pm.
- Occasional later finishes on Fridays or Saturdays are required for private functions, generally once or twice per month.
- Availability during school holidays and some public holidays is also required.
Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
