Soccer Coach – Kids Soccer Program
Soccajoeys Inner West Melbourne| Casual | $25–$38 per hour | Mid-Late July 2026 Start

Soccajoeys is Australia’s most popular children’s soccer program, delivering fun, engaging, and development-focused soccer classes for children aged 2.5 to 11 years.
At Soccajoeys, we help children build confidence, teamwork, coordination, and skills for life through soccer in a positive and supportive environment where every child can enjoy sport regardless of ability.
We are now recruiting enthusiastic and energetic Soccer Coaches to join our Keilor East/Williamstown Team for Term 3, 2026.
Recruitment is open now, with successful candidates commencing in mid-late July 2026.

About the role:
As a Soccajoeys Coach, you’ll deliver structured and enjoyable soccer sessions in a safe and supportive recreational setting.
You’ll be part of a friendly team and receive ongoing training and support.
You will be required to go for a training before the commencement.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver fun and engaging soccer sessions for children aged 2.5–11 years
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Encourage confidence, teamwork, and participation through sport
- Communicate professionally with parents and team members
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled sessions
- Represent Soccajoeys with enthusiasm and professionalism
To be successful in this role, you’ll haveEssential
- Passion for soccer and coaching
- Enjoy working with children aged 2.5–11 years
- Friendly, patient, energetic, and enthusiastic personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Have your own transport (essential) and be willing to travel to Williamstown and Keilor East
- Must have or be eligible to obtain your own Working With Children’s Certificate (essential) and first aid certificate (preferred)
- Australian work rights
Preferred but not essential
- Soccer coaching or playing background
- Previous experience working with children
- Experience in childcare, sport coaching, or education
- Teaching
- Early childhood education
- Sport or exercise science
- Psychology
- Passion for personal development and mentoring children
Availability:
Weekend availability is a must.
Classes will run in the mornings from 9am -12pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Coaches will be required to set-up before classes and pack-up /close venue after classes.
Shifts are negotiable depending on availability.
