Gaming Coordinator - Full Time
Rich River Golf Club is seeking a motivated and experienced Gaming Coordinator to support our Gaming Lounge and Vault operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering outstanding customer experiences while supporting the day-to-day management and strategic objectives of our gaming department.
Position Summary
The Gaming Coordinator will assist in the daily operations of the Gaming department, supporting the Gaming Manager in achieving operational goals, maintaining compliance standards and ensuring a high level of customer service for all patrons.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily balancing and cash flow management
Oversee daily poker machine clearance and reconciliation
Support the coaching and development of gaming staff
Direct team members in daily tasks and operational duties
Assist with rostering and workforce coordination
Drive and uphold exceptional customer service standards
Support implementation and improvement of gaming procedures and processes
Assist with gaming loyalty programs and member engagement strategies
Monitor transactions in line with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CTF (Counter-Terrorism Financing) requirements
Ensure compliance with gaming and regulatory standards
Assist in running gaming promotions, including Bingo and raffles
Contribute to reporting and performance analysis
Support Keno and TAB operations
Assist in introducing new products, services and promotions
Key Selection Criteria
Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
Friendly, professional approach with members and guests
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong IT and gaming systems experience, including System 7000 and Aristocrat systems (or similar platforms)
Current RSA, RCG and Advanced RCG certifications, along with TAB accreditation
Demonstrated experience working within a gaming environment
Strong understanding of AML and CTF obligations and compliance requirements
Proven cash handling accuracy and integrity
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Strong professional image and presentation
Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
Previous experience in a gaming or club hospitality environment
