As the Diversity & Inclusion Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how diversity, inclusion and belonging are experienced across RA. Partnering closely with leaders, employees and external stakeholders, you’ll lead the delivery of meaningful initiatives that strengthen an inclusive culture and address real barriers to participation and equity.
Sitting within the People and Culture team, this role operates at the intersection of strategy and delivery. You’ll coordinate diversity and inclusion action plans, drive Employee Network engagement, deliver impactful programs and campaigns, and provide trusted advice on inclusive practices and legislative requirements. From embedding sustainable initiatives and enhancing reporting to building strong partnerships and influencing outcomes, your work will have a visible and lasting impact across the organisation.
You’re an experienced diversity and inclusion professional who combines strong subject matter expertise with the ability to engage, influence and build trust. You’re comfortable navigating complexity and know how to translate strategy, policy and legislation into practical initiatives that create meaningful and lasting change.
Key skills and experience you'll bring:
We're looking for someone with experience in developing and delivering diversity and inclusion strategies, programs and action plans within complex organisations. You'll bring strong knowledge of diversity and inclusion legislation, frameworks and best practice, along with the ability to provide practical advice and build trusted relationships with leaders, employee networks and external partners.
You'll also have experience coordinating engagement initiatives, communication campaigns and events, supported by strong analytical, reporting and communication skills. This includes the ability to track progress, interpret data, influence stakeholders and translate insights into clear, accessible and impactful content.

About the Agency
The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier’s Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders.
