THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting opportunity to join Driscoll’s Australia, where you will work closely with nursery leaders and operational stakeholders to provide data-driven insights that support operational performance, inventory optimisation and business decision-making.
As the Nursery Planner, you will manage the tissue culture forecast planning function, develop production plans to meet tissue culture orders, track real-time activity and support effective inventory management through the IVS system. You will also provide reporting, system support and practical insights to improve planning processes and support the future capacity of our nursery operations.
Some of your key responsibilities, will include:

Manage the tissue culture (TC) forecast planning function.

Gather and evaluate data to develop solutions aimed at increasing productive efficiency.

Provide input to strategic decisions affecting the functional area and workflow within the laboratory environment.

Provide essential input for future planning in the development of budgets.
-
Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from TC laboratories and the broader Driscoll’s business, requiring coordination with other departments.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience in planning roles within FMCG, Agriculture or similar would be advantageous.

Advanced Excel skills and experience using BI tools.

Use of inventory management systems such as IVS or equivalent.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

Experience interpreting complex data and providing actionable recommendations.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation and process optimisation.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
