DBK ENTERPRISES PTY LTD & MAGV PTY LTD t/as Transbeam Industries are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator / Sheet Metalworker to join our team in Forrestfield and/or Bruce Rock.
This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start, working Monday to Friday on a 5&2 roster.
Hourly rate - $38 - $48 per hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate the large Brake Press Machine (Bystronic Xpert Pro 320/4300)
- Interpret basic drawings and markup parts accordingly
- Ensure efficient workflow to meet production objectives
- Identify and manage damaged or substandard products
- Perform machine maintenance and keep the work area clean
- Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements
- Experience with plate rolling is desirable
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 1 year of Brake Press machine operating experience
- Prior experience in a busy manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret basic drawings with attention to detail and quality
- Strong numerical abilities and clear communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain good physical fitness
- Own reliable transport and a forklift ticket (mandatory)
- Experience with overhead cranes is a plus
