Priority One Building Services (P1B) is a specialist insurance building and restoration company delivering water damage restoration, mould remediation, fire damage restoration, structural drying and make-safe works for insurers, strata managers and property owners. We service jobs across Queensland and Victoria
We're growing and looking for reliable, hands-on Restoration Technicians to join our field crews. Full-time and casual roles are available.
What you'll do
- Attend water, mould, fire and make-safe jobs across residential and commercial sites
- Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers)
- Take and record moisture readings and track drying progress
- Carry out controlled deconstruction, containment setup and decontamination
- Perform mould remediation under established stage-gate processes
- Document site conditions with photos and field notes (Encircle or similar)
- Work safely following IICRC-aligned procedures
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, project managers and clients
What we're looking for
- Experience in restoration, construction, trades or a related hands-on field (restoration experience highly regarded)
- IICRC certification (WRT, AMRT or equivalent) an advantage — or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail
- Comfortable with physical work in PPE, including confined or affected spaces
- Good written communication for clear site documentation
- Current driver's licence (essential)
- White Card / Construction Induction (essential or willing to obtain)
- Willingness to travel to jobs across Queensland as required
- Willingness to undertake on-call/after-hours emergency make-safe work (role dependent)
