Gloucester Soldiers Memorial Hospital (GSMH) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As part of the Lower Mid North Coast Sector within Hunter New England Local Health District, GSMH provides a range of acute healthcare services to the Gloucester community in a supportive and collaborative rural healthcare environment. Our facility includes a 14-bed acute ward, a busy Emergency Department, Day Stay Unit, Operating Theatre and Community Health Centre. This diverse clinical setting offers nurses the opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of acute and emergency presentations while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, compassionate and evidence-based care to patients within the acute ward and/or Emergency Department. Working closely with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Assistant in Nursing staff, General Practitioners, Visiting Medical Officers and Allied Health professionals, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care to achieve positive health outcomes. You will also be supported by visiting Clinical Nurse Educators and senior clinicians who are committed to helping staff grow and succeed.
About you
You are a motivated and adaptable Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a dynamic healthcare environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
