Following our growth in Perth, we are opening our new Sydney production facility in Botany.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Delivery Driver and Process Worker to join our Sydney team on a casual basis.
Your primary responsibility will be delivering frozen customer orders safely and efficiently across Sydney. When not completing deliveries, you will work alongside our production team to prepare, cook, portion and pack our fresh cat food.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys driving but is equally comfortable performing hands-on work in a commercial food production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled customer deliveries safely, accurately and on time
- Follow planned delivery routes and update delivery statuses correctly
- Load and unload orders while maintaining the frozen cold chain
- Handle customer orders carefully and professionally
- Receive, move and store ingredients, packaging and finished products
- Prepare ingredients, including weighing, measuring, cutting, grinding and mixing meat and organs
- Follow approved recipes, production instructions and batch sheets
- Cook products using commercial cooking equipment after receiving appropriate training
- Monitor and record cooking times, product temperatures and cooling temperatures
- Assist with portioning, filling, sealing, labelling, freezing and packing products
- Pick and pack customer boxes for delivery
- Complete production, packing, temperature and delivery records accurately
- Clean and sanitise utensils, equipment, work areas and delivery equipment
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, quality and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with other reasonable production, packing and warehouse tasks as required
About You
- Hold a current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- Have a safe driving history and feel confident driving throughout Sydney
- Are reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Are comfortable performing both delivery and hands-on food production work
- Can follow recipes, production instructions and safety procedures accurately
- Have strong attention to detail
- Are physically capable of safely loading, unloading and moving delivery boxes and production materials
- Are comfortable working around raw meat, cooking equipment and chilled or frozen products
- Communicate clearly and behave professionally around customers
- Have valid Australian working rights
Previous delivery, food production, warehouse, packing or commercial kitchen experience is helpful but not essential. Full training will be provided.
