Summary
Our client Centrepoint Plumbing is a Queensland-based construction and infrastructure company delivering high-quality civil works services across residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. As the project portfolio continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Engineer (Civil) to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Undertake engineering assessments and provide technical advice relating to earthworks, drainage systems, and civil infrastructure projects.
- Review, analyse, and evaluate engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and relevant standards.
- Conduct engineering calculations and feasibility assessments to support project planning, design implementation, and construction activities.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve engineering and construction-related issues through the development of practical and cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure all civil works are carried out in accordance with Australian Standards, engineering principles, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
- Participate in project planning and design review meetings, providing recommendations to improve constructability, efficiency, quality, and project outcomes.
- Assess project risks and develop engineering solutions to minimise construction delays, safety risks, and cost impacts.
- Coordinate with designers, consultants, surveyors, and other engineering professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, progress assessments, and project recommendations for management and clients.
- Review and approve construction methodologies, material specifications, and engineering submissions to ensure compliance with project objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of civil infrastructure works to ensure they meet design intent, quality standards, and operational requirements.
- Support the development of project budgets, engineering estimates, and resource planning activities through technical analysis and forecasting.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
- The Candidate have at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of Australian construction standards, WHS legislation, and quality assurance requirements.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing project priorities.
