Advisor Enterprise Architecture
Grade: 7/8
Salary range: $116,981-129,492 + superannuation and leave loading
Duration: ongoing, permanent full time role
Location: Hybrid with an in-office requirement on 2 days a week in Sydney, Parramatta, Gosford or Bathurst on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This may be subject to change in line with DCS workplace policies
Help shape the technology solutions that enable critical communications and digital transformation across NSW Telco Authority.
Support the development of enterprise and solution architecture outcomes by contributing to solution design, governance, technology roadmaps and architecture assurance activities across a diverse portfolio of projects and initiatives.
About the team
This role sits within the Enterprise Architecture team in NSW Telco Authority.
The team is responsible for shaping NSW Telco Authority's technology direction through architecture governance, solution design, technology roadmaps and strategic advisory services. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, the team delivers secure, resilient and scalable solutions that support critical communications and digital transformation initiatives across NSW.
Your responsibilities will include

Developing architecture artefacts and solution designs that align with enterprise architecture principles, standards and business objectives.

Translating business requirements into fit-for-purpose technology solutions that support operational and strategic outcomes.

Participating in architecture governance, assurance, design reviews and decision-making forums.

Providing technical guidance and architecture support to project and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Contributing to architecture standards, patterns, reference architectures and technology roadmaps.

Supporting the development, testing, implementation and continuous improvement of technology solutions and architecture practices.

Building strong stakeholder relationships and evaluate emerging technologies to support innovation and future business needs.

To be successful in this role you will have
Essential Security Clearance: You will be able to obtain and retain minimum Baseline Security clearance within six months to work with sensitive government and critical communications information

Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT, Architecture, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

Experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture or systems design

Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills

Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions

Knowledge of cloud, integration, security and enterprise architecture frameworks

Strong analytical, problem-solving and project delivery skills
Desirable

Exposure to critical infrastructure, telecommunications or government environments

Knowledge of contemporary cloud and integration technologies

Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
