Dominant Productions, based in Epping, is seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler (Caulking specialist) to join our growing team. We specialise in high‑quality projects and are looking for someone who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and delivering durable, watertight finishes.
About the Role
You will work with a range of materials including ceramic, clay, slate, marble, and glass tiles across internal and external surfaces. The role requires strong attention to detail, efficient work practices, and a commitment to producing clean, long‑lasting results.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret plans, measure, mark, and lay out work
- Prepare surfaces by removing old materials, repairing defects, and cleaning
- Apply adhesives and install tiles with correct spacing and alignment
- Cut and shape tiles for edges, corners, and around fixtures
- Grout, clean, and finish tiled surfaces
- Apply waterproofing systems as required
Caulking & Sealant Work
- Apply caulking and sealants in bathrooms, kitchens, windows, doors, siding, and expansion joints
- Clean, mask, and prepare surfaces before sealing
- Select appropriate sealants for each application
- Seal corners, junctions, and tile interfaces with tubs, showers, sinks, countertops, fixtures, windows, and doors
- Use flexible sealants compatible with tile assemblies and waterproofing systems
- Ensure watertight integrity and long‑term durability of installations
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with silicone, polyurethane, acrylic, and specialty sealants
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work in varied conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
- Skilled with tile‑cutting tools, adhesives, and waterproofing products
- Ability to read and interpret plans
