About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our sales team, at our Navel Base location. In this role, you will act as the primary technical expert for clients, guiding them through our electric forklift, warehousing equipment, and industrial battery portfolios. This is a consultative, face-to-face technical sales role perfect for someone who thrives on engineering tailored fleet solutions.
What You’ll Do:
· Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities for our electric forklift and warehousing equipment range while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.
· Explain technical features, load capacities, and operational capabilities of our electric forklifts and warehousing machinery.
· Provide expert technical advice on power solutions, contrasting the operational efficiencies, charging infrastructure, and total cost of ownership (TCO) between lead-acid and lithium-ion systems.
· Build accurate technical configurations, generate pricing quotes, and put together formal sales proposals.
· Follow up on warm leads, convert quotes into orders, and coordinate with the operations and delivery teams to ensure seamless handover.
· Keep product specifications, customer details, and sales tracking up to date in our system.
· Represent the company at trade shows, client visits and industry events as required
What We’re Looking for:
· At least 5 years of highly relevant commercial experience, ideally within heavy machinery, materials handling, industrial hiring, or logistics.
· An understanding of electric forklift operations and industrial batteries (lead-acid vs. lithium-ion) to effectively negotiate and align technical needs for sales.
· Natural ability to build rapport, present financial lease terms clearly, and negotiate commercial agreements to a close.
· Highly organised, capable of reading and understanding spec sheets and commercial agreements
· Valid driver licence

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
