McBeath Electrical is a busy, residential electrical contracting business based in Lake Macquarie, NSW, working primarily on new home builds across the Hunter region for one of Australia's leading home builders. We're looking for a licensed Electrician to join our growing team.
About the Role
- Full-time (Monday–Friday), immediate start
- Working daily across the Hunter region (Newcastle & Lake Macquarie based)
- Primarily new home construction, with renovation and maintenance from time to time
- Great hours – most days home by 3:30pm
- Opportunity for overtime
- Company van provided, OR fuel card/vehicle allowance if using your own vehicle

What You'll Be Doing
- Rough-in and fit-off electrical work on new residential builds
- General domestic and small commercial renovation and maintenance electrical work as required
- Working to a daily schedule across various sites in the Hunter region
- Working both independently and as part of a small crew, depending on the job
What We're Looking For
- Full NSW Electrical Licence (essential)
- White Card (essential)
- Full Driving Licence (including ability to drive manual vehicles)
- Confident reading technical and layout drawings
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage your day with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working solo on-site as well as alongside other trades
- Experience in training and supervising apprentices
- Good communicator and team player
- New domestic/residential experience highly regarded
