We are looking for an experienced
HR Coordinator to join our Support Office team in
Ryde on a
12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover, with the possibility of an extension or transition to a permanent position based on performance and the needs of the business.
This is a hands-on HR role supporting the day-to-day employee lifecycle across our growing network of centres. You will work closely with our People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Operations, Learning & Development and Payroll teams, as well as Centre Directors and employees across the organisation.
About the Role
As
HR Coordinator, you will provide practical HR administration and support across a broad range of activities, including:
- Coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Preparing employment contracts, letters and other HR documentation
- Coordinating pre-employment checks and compliance requirements
- Monitoring employee qualifications, accreditation, training and other required documentation
- Processing employee changes including transfers, promotions and changes to employment conditions
- Supporting Centre Directors and employees with day-to-day HR queries
- Assisting with probation and performance review processes
- Providing administrative support for workers compensation and return-to-work matters
- Supporting Payroll with employee information and changes
- Maintaining accurate employee information in systems including Tanda
- Assisting with training and Learning & Development administration
- Preparing HR reports and supporting HR projects and audits
- Following up outstanding HR actions and documentation
- Providing general HR support to the wider People & Culture team

About you
You will have previous experience in an
HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, HR Advisor or similar role and be comfortable working across a broad range of HR responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong HR administration experience
- Is highly organised and detail-oriented
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Is confident communicating with employees and managers at all levels
- Understands the importance of confidentiality when handling employee information
- Is comfortable working with HR systems and learning new platforms
- Takes initiative and follows tasks through to completion
- Has a practical and people-focused approach
- Works well as part of a collaborative team
Experience within
early childhood education, education, childcare or another multi-site organisation will be highly regarded.
