Requirements:
- Experience/Qualifications: You MUST have prior dental assisting experience OR be currently enrolled in or have completed relevant TAFE training.
- Availability: This is a long-term commitment. We require candidates who do not have overlapping work, university, or other commitments that conflict with clinic hours.
- Hours: Must be able to work later hours, specifically after 5:00 PM, and up to 9:00 PM on certain days (with a later start to compensate).
- Career Goals: We are looking for someone eager to grow with our expanding practice and take on further opportunities as they arise.
The Role:
We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant for a long-term position. Our clinics cater to a variety of patient schedules, which means you must be comfortable working longer or later hours. On certain days, clinic hours extend until 9:00 PM, balanced with later start times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and the treatment room.
- Ensure high standards of infection control and patient safety.
- Provide excellent patient care and comfort before, during, and after treatments.
