About the Role
As a Consultant Cardiologist, you shape high-quality heart failure care within a leading tertiary service. You manage complex patients, build strong clinical partnerships and help grow best-practice models of care. You also support research, teaching and the next generation of clinicians.
Duties
- Deliver safe, expert heart failure care
- Design and improve patient-centred services
- Supervise and support trainee medical officers
- Partner with nursing, allied health and admin teams
- Lead teaching, training and research activity
- Link with community providers and educators
About You
You are a specialist cardiologist who brings strong clinical judgement, teamwork and a genuine drive to improve heart failure care, research and training.
- MBBS or equivalent with AHPRA specialist registration
- Advanced cardiology practice, including heart failure care
- Lead and support research, teaching and trainee supervision
- Work well across multidisciplinary and diverse teams
- Commit to quality improvement and ongoing professional growth
