This is the person who owns social media at Mango.
You'll run a portfolio of client accounts across two sides of the business: high-end residential builders and commercial construction, spanning both trade and builder businesses. You'll set the strategy, brief the shoots, work with our content team to get the content made, and sit in front of clients to explain what we're doing and why.
Alongside our director, you are the point of contact for these clients. Not a coordinator passing things along. The person they call.
It's senior, it's dynamic, and there's real ownership in it. You're not executing someone else's plan. You're building it.
What you'll own
- Client strategy. Set the content direction for each client, map it to their business goals, and adjust as those goals move.
- Shoot briefs and coordination. Work out what needs to be captured, write the brief, and coordinate the shoot with the client and our shooters.
- Working with the content team. Brief and collaborate with our editors and shooters across the full funnel, from polished bottom-of-funnel brand work through to fast middle and top-of-funnel content.
- Scheduling and publishing. Make sure content goes out on time, on the right channels, correctly. We're happy to build AI tooling around you to take the friction out of this.
- Client relationships. Run the monthly catch-ups and quarterly strategy sessions. Explain performance in plain language. Tell clients what the right call is, not just what they want to hear.
Who you are
- At least 5 years in social media, agency-side or running social for a business with real commercial stakes
- You've owned client relationships and can hold your own in a room with a business owner
- You think strategically first and get satisfaction from a client winning a job, not from a post doing numbers
- Organised. You're running multiple portfolios, multiple shoots and multiple calendars at once
- Clear, direct communicator. No fluff, no jargon
- Comfortable with construction, trades or a similar industry, or genuinely interested in learning it properly
Bonus, not essential:
- Hands-on content creation experience, particularly low-fi and self-shot content. If you're strong across everything else, we can teach this.
- Experience with scheduling platforms and AI tooling
