Duties and responsibilities
- Assist with installation of sheets, panels, and components onto truck bodies
- Fit and secure rivets and fasteners to required specifications
- Conduct basic welding tasks on toolboxes, mudguards, and other accessories
- Assist with installation and adjustment of truck curtains and systems
- Prepare truck bodies and components for assembly and installation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
We are looking for someone with
- Previous experience in a workshop, fabrication, or trade assistant role
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Basic welding skills (training can be provided if needed)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently and in a team
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Full Australian working rights
